Moebus Marzen

Märzen

Moebus Märzen (pronounced in English as “mare – tsen”) is brewed in honor of the wedding of Bill Moebus and Angela Smith on September 4, 2021. One is hard pressed to find a more fitting beer style for such an occasion. The Märzen was the official beer of Oktoberfest, the world renowned Bavarian festival, from the 1870s until 1990. Oktoberfest itself started in 1810 in Munich, as a celebration for the wedding of King Ludwig and his wife, Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. Copper colored with a toasted bread aroma, this lager features a crisp and clean finish. It is best paired with a giant pretzel while wearing lederhosen or a dirndl.
