Wenceslaus Winter Ale

Black Ale

St. King Wenceslaus is revered during the Christmas Season for his acts of kindness on the Feast of St. Stephen. While legend portrays him as an aged King, Wenceslaus I of Bohemia was actually martyred as a Duke at the age of 27 years old in the year 935 and would posthumously be named King. At Tridentine Brewing we prefer to focus on the lyrics of his song in 2020: “Therefore, Christian men, be sure wealth or rank possessing, ye who now will bless the poor shall yourselves find blessing.” Remember why we celebrate Christmas, act on it and raise a glass in honor of Christmas, Wenceslaus and the Holiday Spirit.
